Topic: lucky little fella

i hopped in my truck a lil while ago and took off down the road well bout 30 yds from my house i jest catch site of a garter snake goin down the road i luckily straddle it get out capture it and releaste it in the ditch savin the little fellers life and other than wantin to get away he was pretty docile not even strikin once

Ready for school to let out so i can work and catch snakes (i work on a farm so i see lots of them)

Well.........we had one of those today too......a lucky little fella...a pair of black racers...his girlfriend, however wasnt so lucky......apparently they had been in some sort of persuit, but she got hit........he may have still been trying to mate with her body when we found them on the center line of a chip n seal road.....the car behind us would have surely hit the little "gentleman". Both were presented to the opposite side of the road--- car behind us just had to wait.

I saw speckled king crossing my road today and I went down to the little lake and saw a little cottonmouth, seems they are in action! I think it is time to buy me a tongs...
