Topic: News - Scientists identify 2 ancient reptiles
Just a little misconception a lot of people have before reading...plesiosaurs (think Loch Ness Monster) are NOT dinosaurs. For that matter, neither are Pterosaurs, sail backed reptiles, and lots of other ancient reptile forms that commonly end up in "dinosaur" books. (My forehead really gets slapped when I see Mastodons and Saber-Toothed Cats ending up in "dinosaur" books!!!)
