Here are my herping finds for all of 2006.  Most were found along Crowley's Ridge.

  You'll have to fogive me for several poor photos.  My digital camera was is rather old and was built in 1999.

Salamanders

Two unidentified salamander larvae.  I must be doing something wrong.

Word got out that I found this and pretty soon a poacher was scouring the site looking for it mad He never found it though :twisted: (the fact that he didn't know where on the 400acre site I had found it probably helped)  The tremendous number of mosquitoes at this site will probably discourage future searches (a local deer hunter I talked to won't hunt at this site when it is warm because he can hardly stand it)

Nice photos!  I especially like the shot of the green treefrogs on the white background.  If you worked with that a little bit it could be really cool!

It may be that your sole purpose in life is simply to serve as a warning to others.

Thanks  big_smile  I got the tree frog shot by placing the frogs in a five gallon bucket with a piece of paper on the bottom to make the shot even whiter.  For some reason the back ground looked flat in this shot.  The frog on the left is actually hanging off the side of the bucket.

  I'll have to try again sometime and see if I can get all the frogs in focus.

Very creative idea!  I was wondering how you were able to get a shot of them at different angles in the same photo.  Let us know how your next attempt turns out!
