What is up with the "guest" posts? Could it be done in the old forum format?
It is hard to take one serious that posts under this.

I think it's set up that 'guests' can post under the Q and A and Classified forum. but I may be wrong.
We've always felt we needed one place that people could come and ask their questions without registering. Most people who need to know what kind of snake they have in their yard, etc probably dont want to know more about them than that - anti-snake people may not wish to be a part of a website and are simply looking for one-time assistance. Yes we did have this in the old format, but had to be restricted near the end because of spammers. The new format is hard to crack for hackers/spammers so we felt guest posting could be reinstated.
So many people on the old member list were people only looking for information and not wanting to continue the membership once their questions had been answered.
I too, wonder who makes the posts and hope they will at least sign a name to their questions/comments so we can address them properly. As far as I know, Q & A is the only forum where this is enabled.
I accidentally posted under guest the other day..but was too lazy to go back and fix it. ![]()
I see the value of the guest post. I am sorry, but I took it a little personal when the one person shot back about the iguana cages. I need to grow a pair
