Topic: herpin with da girls

So, I think it would be cool to have a girls only herping day.  I have never gone herping, so you girls...Cyndi and Anja and whomever will have to teach me what to do.  Anyone interested in showing the newbie the ropes?   cool

well.... Theres just not many of us.. and even fewer within reach of your area... LOL... maybe on one of the field trips the "girls" can ride together or something..? I dont know cause I rarely go out with them.. I stay at camp and hold down the fort...

Definitely!  Erica and I have a couple of places where weâ??ve had some success around central AR.  Once the weather gets a little warmer, we usually spend a Saturday afternoon out looking around.  Weâ??d love for you and Anja to get together with us sometime!

It may be that your sole purpose in life is simply to serve as a warning to others.

I can escape during the day one day to go herpin'! big_smile I'd have to drive aways but I don't mind meeting up somewhere (as long as I get good directions..lol)  Mt Magazine or Devil's Den area wouldn't be too bad for me, but I don't know where everyone else is on that.
Anytime any of you (or all of you) want to head up this way, just give me a shout ahead of time  wink

Or you could just stay with either Anja or me (keep in mind we have 5 kids...so Anja's might be more quiet)..but we have a keg-a-nator..whoohooo!!  Yep, y'all keep me informed.  It looks like I will miss the Spring Field trip....I have a wedding to cater that weekend...damnit!

Doubt I'll be able to make the spring trip either sad  I really wanted to go when it was in Conway last time, but at that time, I just didn't have a babysitter.  And my 2yr old is NOT a happy camper.   hmm

Seriously, maybe we can try to work up a nice weekend herp trip somewhere in the northwest/central area in Spring/early Summer and meet up somewhere and camp.  Definitely sounds like something fun to do.
