Topic: March 16, 2007 Western Diamondbacks

Found only two today.  The weather was much cooler, approximately 65 degrees.  First snake found at 1:00 PM and the second at 4:00 PM.  The first one was way back in a crevice and after two pictures crawled back in and disappeared.  The second snake was coiled in the shade under a dense bush, almost did not find him.  I did pull him out in order to take his picture.  He was quite a distance from the den already.  Am afraid they are out fairly early this year.  They could be gone by the first week of April.

Alcohol Tobacco & Firearms should be a convenience store, not a government agency.

They DO seem to be out earlier.  Everything is happening earlier this year.lol  Daylight Savings, Spring break..Easter, eesh

It's going to be 30degrees tonight, and like high in lower 60s here.
I can't imagine finding much in the cooler weather,  and my plans to herp this weekend are shot anyways, thanks to my U joints in my Blazer ALSO being shot.
Hopefully that will be rectified this week and this following weekend will turn out to be succesfull.

May I ask what county you are finding these out and about?

I'm about to have an abruptly.

Well that answers my question about you coming down tomorrow. wink I think ill go on Sunday instead, gonna go ahead and head down to Hope for the Jonquil Festival with my friend Ginny.

So you're coming down my way, huh? The festival is literally just a couple miles from me and I refuse to go...to many crafts and over-perfumed old women...:lol: Hope y'all have fun!!!
