Have a woman at work that has been bugging me to come to her place and scout around for snakes and snapping turtles,so this afternoon I headed that way,became aquainted with her husband and MASSIVE dogs. They said that since last year when they put up a fence around the property they have to move a snapper up over the fence about 1 or 2 times a week,but are afraid that they would eventually bite the dogs,so they wanted me to relocate them instead of killing them. As her husband was leading me towards one of the ponds and explaining about how they seem to follow the same path(which was visible) I saw this guy by the fence:

I guess there are a few more running around over there.

After I got home,took some pics,I prepared to release it into a couple of ponds here behind the house. I snagged Tyler and Colby (hey someone has to carry my gear!!) Also Took a garter that Torry had caught while I was gone and took them to the ponds and dump.As we came upon the first pond we watched 2 other common snappers slide off into the water. Also saw 6 Bullfrogs,5 leopard frogs,and one unidentified turtle there in the ponds. Also heard numerous grey Tree Frogs and Toads calling. At the dump we released the Garter. We flipped some tin and turned up a couple of Five Lined Skinks and 4 Earth Snakes
