Topic: Woohoo first herps!

UA wildlife society hosted a small field techniques competition today.  I volunteered to work the grill while everyone else had all the fun.  Saw a 3-foot copperhead DOR on the way, and also saw some sliders and a five-line skink while I hobbled around the pavilion at the lake.  Glad to be out, but still not able to get around on rocky terrain.  Can't wait till the boot is off.

Glad to hear you had a bit of fun! Hope you get healed up soon!

You think you'll be good to go for the trip in May?

Heres to a quick recovery so you can get out and find some herps.

I bet the sliders and five-lined felt like finding a million bucks!  HA!  Glad to know you are making it around some now.

Re: Woohoo first herps!

Thanks all

I am planning on going on the spring field trip no matter what.  I will have the boot off by then but I might not be able to do a whole lot of heavy duty herping.  We'll see how therapy has gone by then.
