Topic: WDB land
A few of us got together to look for the great WDB. With the success of Jeremy, we had high hopes. The weather quickly took care of all that. The plan was Saturday, well that went to some salamandering instead. Little luck was had on that trip and I took no pics of the one Rich Mountain Salamander found, and the other more common things (slimmy, redback, many-ribbd, ringnecks, and five-lines).
Well it did finally get a little warm on Sunday. So off we go.
On the way out we found a large DOR Prairie King. Thoughts of WDBs were dancing in our heads with this.
We stopped at a tin site and flipped a couple of ringnecks, five-lines, rough earths, and flatheads. No pictures.
Next we hit the location that Jeremy found the [size=18one[/size. These are some habitat shots:

A few of us came down this rough slope:

Little lucks was had. Jeremy saw a little Copperhead, and he found this Speckled King:

Some more of the same fossorial snakes were found under tin.
Off to another spot were nothing of signifcance was foud (except I lost my cell out in the woods). We did come accross this awsome Hognose crossing the road:

To end this little post, a few snakes were brought by for a look.
This is yet another picture of Jeremy's WDB. Never too many
.

MissLindsay brought up her recent find in Louisiana. It was this gem of a Coral Snake. Again never too many pictures of this snake. I hope to see many more pictures from those of you with the better cameras.

Hope you all enjoyed.
