Its a good spot, there are open fields, heavily wooded areas, glades, a colapsed barn, and a spring fed beaver pond, all within a 10 acre square area.

Neat series of the snapping turtles.  Could be courting, or could be territorial.  Either way, its probably not often seen.

i think im gonna have to come up to arkansas some time this summer, i love all this great looking habitat you guys have out there.it would be a trip to go herpin in such a diferent enviroment than what im used to.plus there seems to be a lot more variety than my usual finds.

I guess im bias but Arkansas has some of the sweetest habitat, scenery, and fauna in the country.
Next to the abundance of rattlesnakes in the southwest, I get the most enjoyment and fun out of herping here.(though these are the only 2 places ive done any substantial herping at)
