Topic: My version of the trip

I did not want to add to Ryan's post, because his pictures are much better than mine.

I purchased my camera with the intention of only taking pictures of animals. This was altered by the fact Brad kept taking more pictures of us than of the animals (digital is nice, aint it B?), so I was driven to turn the camera on the boy.

Last the great find of the trip. Thanks Jadin for getting us our one live Western Mud Snake:

I hate it that I have no lizard pictures. Also, no salamanders were found on the trip, that sucked (not counting the one ralphed up by one of the Broad-banded Waternsnakes. I do regret not taking a picture of one of the DOR Buttermilk Racers. It was absolutely to die for. I doubt I will ever see one like that in the state of Arkansas again. The gem was mostly white with only a minimal amount of the gray/black. I know it was in bad shape and covered with ants, but dang it should of taken at least one pic to document it.

It was a great time, and I hope I can do it again next fall.
