Topic: Casual Oklahoma herping
Went home (NE Oklahoma) for Memorial Day weekend and hoped to get some good herping in. Well I never had time to get out and actively herp, but road herping to and from places was productive. Unfortunately it was a really busy time for this area so I found way too many DOR animals. We also made a trip into Kansas and added a few things on our list. Also, there were probably 15 more snakes and 20 more turtles (mostly box) that were bad DORs and I didnâ??t stop.
Here are a few pics
Shy 3-toed box turtle
Very quick 3-toed box turtle
Young ornate box turtle
Yellow mud turtle

Great Plains narrowmouth toad that I found calling in my parentsâ?? swimming pool)
This Black rat snake was about 5 feet up on the side of my aunt and uncleâ??s house.
