Topic: Casual Oklahoma herping

Went home (NE Oklahoma) for Memorial Day weekend and hoped to get some good herping in. Well I never had time to get out and actively herp, but road herping to and from places was productive. Unfortunately it was a really busy time for this area so I found way too many DOR animals. We also made a trip into Kansas and added a few things on our list. Also, there were probably 15 more snakes and 20 more turtles (mostly box) that were bad DORs and I didnâ??t stop.

Here are a few pics

Yeah, I was pretty surprised at how much we actually found without looking. Yeah we had some big Bulls...3 of them were pretty big (over 4 ft). The biggest was close to 6 ft.

it seems like those black rats are the most common snake i see on this web site. its not a bad thing at all though, i think theyre beautifull. i never see them that dark in my area.
