Topic: Anyone have cool herp pics???

If you like, post a pic of a herp, or ten, whatever. It doesn't matter if it is captive or not, just thought it would be cool to see a bunch of cool shots of herps.

Here are a couple of Copperheads I found snuggled up under a rock in Washington county, Oklahoma a few years ago.

Very nice

Flipping this guy was one of the best finds during a S. Texas trip in 2004. Texas banded gecko about an hour east of Laredo, TX

I can't wait to get to do some Florida herping. The Worm lizard would definitely be an awesome find. Keep up the great pics.

Hey you, yeah the one reading this that hasn't posted any pics. What gives?   hmm

That's a cool gecko, Glenn. Love the broad banded watersnake, Josh.

Here's a RES, also from the HNWR in TN (because I know they're really rare and most of you have probably never seen one...and if you don't pick up the sarcasm in that then there is no hope for you!)

Re: Anyone have cool herp pics???

Yes, please break it up a little! We want other people to post (we envision something like 10 pages of pictures!)

Is that a plate for an article, Glenn? Also, is that your private collection (I noticed the 'GM' on the tags. Wasn't sure if those were your personal specimens or if you initial the tags on the ones you collect for UofA or whoever. Just curious)?

Also, love the pic of the glass lizard, collared lizard, and milk snake!

Well, since I can't post on this thread without including a picture (which should be a rule) here's a midland watersnake...

I would not call the collection personal, but yes those are my field numbers. They are in the UADZ collection and will be sent to a longterm museum someday. That plate will "hopefully" end up in my dissertation and then to publication.

How many species are on the plate?
