Topic: "Road cruising" last night. Western Mud snake

Driving home last night in southwest  Yell county:
1 copperhead
1 Western mud snake

While standing over the mud snake I was thinking, " I didn't think these snakes were  in Yell county".  The bright red bands on it's belly convinced me other wise. It was laying on the road surface next to a "swampy" area that is wet year round.
