Saw this little guy crossing the trail about 2 o'clock this afternoon.  Temperature was about 80, with 100 % cloud cover.  Elevation about 1250'.  Just a bit further up the hill there was a nice box turtle as well.  It seems like ages since there have been any herps on the trails except 'black snakes'.  Jo-Ann
