Who is going and when do you plan to be there? Melissa, Wyatt and I are leaving Thursday afternoon. We haven't decided where to stay on the way (depends on the birding/herping in SE Oklahoma), so we aren't sure how soon we will be there Friday. I'd say probably noonish.
Reagan and I should arrive around 4 pm if my guesstimations are correct
I think we'll have jeremy with us as well.
I will be there for all day on Saturday. Look forward to seeing everyone.

I live less than hr away. I plan on being there b/4 dark Fri.
I'm going with Eric. All I know is I'm meeting up with him around 7 and we're herping our way down.
I'm stoked to meet everyone and get a few days of solid herping in before my coldest winter ever.
.... we'll be leaving as soon as we can Friday morning so that should put us there somtime before midnight... 
Im thinking between 2 and 3 realisticly... Hot Chili dinner will be roughly 6-ish.... REALLY hoping they lift that burn ban
Aaron and I are picking up Mike and Jeremy early Friday morning and herping our way down. Should be there in the late afternoon sometime.
Unfortunately I'll be sitting this one out. I'm pushing my limits by going to the Razorbacks game the day before my wifes birthday already. I wanted to come down on friday for the day but I think that would be pushing too far.

I have a request...
whoever is first to get down there...find someone in charge, start kissin their behind, and see if we cant get this burn ban C R A P lifted for us! I just called and spoke to the park to make sure thats the policy...and it is...but she did say 'we can take a look at it when ya'll get down here..' Otherwise, we're gonna have to put a stack of firewood in the bbq grill. Surely they'll let us...i mean, its not like the campsite is ever abandoned or anything? This is PERFECT campfire weather.

Good luck getting them to let us burn a fire. The burn ban is issued by a county judge and carries a fine. It is bad down here folks. A guy got find $360 in Drew County for burning in is yard. Of course the dude was stupid and the fire jumped out of his yard. Of course $360 did not cover the cost to get the fire trucks out there.
13 year experienced Fireman doesnt make a difference and it wouldnt matter if we were all peeing on the darn thing, they still wouldnt let us have a fire..... Charcoal it is... bring SMALL chairs so we can all huddle round... What can we put on charcoal to keep the flames going, btw? glow sticks... rum... SP brochures...
I'm not sure I agree with the idea of camping without a fire... especially because it's going to be cold enough to NOT herp all night...
If we burn the area, we're bound to find a few corals "running" from the flames!
The burn ban is issued by a county judge and carries a fine.
That it does,but a County Judge doesn't have jurisdiction over state owned property so there MAY possibly be a chance for a small fire.

Ill be there aroun fiveish. I live sooooooo far away it may be a little later.. 
we HAVE to have a fire..Cant we just church it up a little and say"blah blah game and fish blah blah". We will freeze some nips without one. its pretty chilly.

I stand corrected.
It would be a risk on their part to let us. Especially if we get to and the neighboring campsites do not. We are having about a forest fire a week over on this side. I don't get the news from the west. There was talk about the timber companies banning the deer hunters because of fear of 4-wheelers starting fires. I know there was a little more rain on that side of the state, but it still look pretty dry when I was over there last week. I will keep my fingers crossed, because it would suck not to have a campfire.

I agree. I cut a bunch of nice cedar logs to bring. Its gonna be cool enough to enjoy a campfire, and maybe a little rum and vanilla coke.....
dream if you want to, but be prepared for Charcoal Cuddling... just sayin.
