Topic: Two days of herping
I did some frog hunting with a park interpreter at Degray yesterday and we found a fowler's toad and juv. bullfrog. It was especially fun, because the program he was doing was on frog calls, and he actually learned the fowler's toad call from me (the state park call machine they sell in the gift shop only had an American toad call)
Then today, after the storms, I went log-flipping with Kasidy and found a slimy sallie and a ground skink and TMTC black ants. Kasidy insisted on taking the slimy home, so of course I let her. Just glad to finally flip some stuff. It has been so dry lately.
