Do you have to have a permit to own them? I know you do to transport them over state lines.

You don't need a permit to buy one in state and keep it in state. To buy one from out of state though requires a permit.

I haven't determined the price yet; but they will be rather expensive. Red throats will be more than all black ones. My male is a red throat and my female is all black so I could have all reds, all blacks or a mixture of both.
I'll post something in the classifieds once I decided on the price.
Keep in mind that there is a permit required for any sales outside of Arkansas. I believe the permit is somewhere around $100 and takes a few months to obtain.
