actually the TOP pic was SW facing, the 2nd one was SE..lol
I spent a good bit of the last storm out getting video. I'll get them uploaded at some point. I must say, my first big storm was a success, even if my stepmom thinks I'm now insane for standing out in 50mph winds, with tornado sirens blaring, shooting video and snapping pics of a thunderstorm...
lmao..sounds about right.
More from flooding:
Cty Rd 44 off 72 "Big Sugar Creek Rd"
Before flooding off same county road, taken 4-19 during road cruise (this specific pasture is in the background under water in the next pic off to the right)
Can't really tell from the rushing water, but there is about a 2ft drop off on each side of that concrete bridge where the rocks were eroded by fast moving water. Just as I had pulled in, a 4wheeler had become stuck in the water.
The water in the background past the woman with the umbrella is about thigh deep.
Little Sugar Creek, more of the pastures near the river.
Little Sugar Creek off Hwy 72 between Pea Ridge/Bentonville 540 exit
For anyone familiar with the area, there's an Equestrian Center near the bridge over Little Sugar Creek:
The flood waters covered most of their pasture, and were lapping at their back door!

Hwy 94 between Pea Ridge & Little Flock (aka 2nd St out of Rogers)
It had receded quite a bit by the time I returned with my camera, so in this pic, the road was passable...
However, about 30mins prior, it was impossible to cross due to rushing water covering the road. I started to chance it untill I saw about an 18" diameter LIVE tree (roots & all) zip by! I ended up having to go around through Avoca and down Lee Town Rd to get home.
