Awesome shots Courtney. I love how the colors are so vibrant, and rather easily explained by the interactions of light and water in our atmosphere cool

Yeah, I  thought I had made some pretty cool rainbows with a waterhose, but the pictures didn't look quite the same.  I guess I haven't learned to use my camera properly.(My dead baby squirrel pics I posted in Feb.were pretty bad!) But I'm working on my camera techniques.

Yeah, a friend linked me to a Jimmy Kimmel  clip where he had  "Bear" the "double rainbow" guy on the show..LOL  Oddly enough, my daughter sounded JUST like him when she saw it.  I guess it's easy to underestimate the little things that other people take a lot of joy from. smile
I really love catching these sunrises.

Starting back into the beautiful sunrises.  Managed to catch a partial bolt of lighting.  I was shocked I actually got that much, thanks for the advice, Kory!

This was actually a LARGE fan of several spread out bolts, I snapped the picture, but only caught the tail end.  Of course, most of it was directly over my head!!! One of the last shots I took this morning!

Great shots!  Even when you know how to do it, lightning pictures require lots of patience and luck...really cool when you get one though!
