Topic: Weekend herpin'

The family and I got bored Saturday and deceided to hit the trail and do some herpin'. We found some neat places and went back Sunday for some more fun, and even had the good Dr. Manning join us. Nothing too exciting (I think). Here is the list:

Saturday:

Ashley co:

TMTC Cricket frogs
Lithobates tadpoles (probably leopard)
Hyla tadpoles
2 Gray treefrogs
1 Green treefrog

Unidentified "creature" (probably a BIG hog)

Sunday:

Ashley co:

Three-toed box turtle
TMTC Hyla tads (again)
1 Cottonmouth
1 Copperhead
1 Narrowmouthed toad heard
TMTC Cricket frogs heard
2 Green treefrogs
3 Toads

Its too darned dry down in south Arkansas! We need rain to get stuff going.  sad

Re: Weekend herpin'

Not too bad. I've had two double digit snake nights in a row in Franklin County, one with Eric last night and with Brad and a couple good friends from back home tonight. Lifers both nights, but keep the one I texted you about on the DL until we post it. Haha.
