Topic: Moldy Ball Python Egg

Hey all my BP clutch is getting close, another 2.5 weeks! One egg I noticed has started becoming moldy but it is not collapsing and looks good otherwise. I've heard of using Gold Bond foot powder to dry it up?? Any ideas? Thanks!

Re: Moldy Ball Python Egg

You can, but I'd use very little, and make sure my substrate isn't too moist, or it will really spread. Have you candled them?
err..at least that one?

I'm about to have an abruptly.

Yes they all look good and have plenty of veins and a little dark void in the middle! The substrate was mixed with water and squeezed out until it didn't drip anymore when I first laid them in there. The humidity stays in the 80s to 90

yeah you can dust that egg lightly with the powder, I haven't used it, but I've heard of it used.
