Topic: Baby boas born today!

The zoo had an unexpected litter of five boas born today and they brought them to me.  Their female is pretty small and they didn't even know about the pregnancy.  They are a bit weak, but we'll see how they progress...If all goes well, I am planning on trading/selling them when they are feeding well.  Here are a few quick shots.  Sorry about the quality.

Thanks!  Unfortunately they are very weak and not moving much at all.  Just trying to nurse them along at this point.  It was the mother's first litter and there were a lot of stillborns and slugs in the litter.  Based on their lack of pigment, I would tend to believe that they might have been a bit early.   sad

Improper temps, etc as well will have that affect. Call me if you need any more rodents, I may have some small enough.

I'm about to have an abruptly.

I just might do that.  I'll wait and see how many make it through their first shed.
