Walked over a mile of creek today and saw nothing but spiders. But on my way home in a washed out ditch I found him!

Awesome Ryan, I have not seen a live speckled king this year. Usually I see a couple but it has been too hot and I haven't got out much during the day.

Only the 2nd one I have ever seen. Super lucky find! Last week there was a big ole snapping turtle down in the same ditch. So when I drove by today I looked down in there and got lucky. Funny how looking for snakes can be so fun.

Nice!!! I saw my first one of the season today after it rained here a bit. Also pulled 2 box turtles off the busy road. Guess I'm headed out tonight to do some cruising.

going flipping and cruising is addicting. Its kind of like deer hunting for me. Never know what your gonna see.
