Topic: Goshen AR herping

Went out with John, Madi & Serenity to do a little herping at a friend's house in Goshen.  She's not a snake person and called me early spazzing about 2 snakes under her porch.

Only found one, but it turned out to be a Midland Brown.  Also found a hatchling box turtle, ringneck, 2 toads, a Broad headed skink, a centipede, a black widow & egg sac, and 2 striped bark scorpions all within the first 20mins.
She wanted all the snakes and scorpions removed, so if anyone wants a couple of Bark Scorpions...please let me know..lol

Re: Goshen AR herping

Good ones.  I've started seeing a few things again after the bit of rain and cool down.  I'm a little concerned I may have missed some of the Ringed Salamanders migration on the past couple of rains.

Yeah, I definitely need to pick back up on herping some before it's too cold.  Today was fun! I have free reign out there and on her mom's & neighbor's properties.  She saw a Timber rattlesnake in her burn pile several weeks ago, I was moving and couldn't get out there to get it.

I'm about to have an abruptly.

Re: Goshen AR herping

lmao!!!! Ironically she was just telling me the story about how her porch fell in with her and her daughter on it.  She had a small concrete fountain that apparently killed a stray cat on it's way down.  Of course I couldn't resist a Foxworthy "Redneck" joke..lol

And nope, I flipped some roofing shingles, her neighbor was supposed to bury the dog, he did...under shingles.  ew!

I'm about to have an abruptly.
