I needed to make a little run to SW Arkansas this last weekend and got in a lot of herping under, unfortunately, continued drought conditions.  I met up with Matthew and David for some of the time...

I feel like I'm being teased.

(What's worse is that I went home thinking it was a Coral shed.)

That first pic of him holding the "coral" was pretty convincing!  big_smile
I thought milk snake immediately when I saw the shed.

Re: Herping Under Drought Conditions in SW Arkansas

I used the wooden coral in Speech class Wed., along with my other fake snakes. (and Hershey's kisses, of course)  Before I showed it, I  told everyone that it was a convincing fake(for the class to I.D.) but one of my classmates in the back row jumped up and almost made a hole in the wall!
