Topic: Albino boa

Ok so this is my 7 month old albino female boa and a few weeks ago I noticed something black in her right eye. So I used a wetted q-tip and tried to clean her eye to no avail so I sprayed her for mites and cleaned her cage yet the black in her eye stayed. So today I took her to the vet and to my surprise she said it is black pigmentation on her iris and the other eye is starting to do the same. It does not affect her vision but I was wondering why this is happening, aren't albinos supposed to have no black pigmentation, even in the eyes?

Never heard of that....

Maybe it's a reverse piebald.  lol

Ever wonder why conservatives are called the right and liberals are called the left?

Re: Albino boa

If memory serves me, the Kahl albinos are said to be able to produce pigment, Sharps are not.

I'm about to have an abruptly.
