Topic: FrogLog 100th Edition Available!

Dear Friends of FrogLog,

The 100th edition of FrogLog is now available from our web site at www.amphibians.org. We would like to thank everyone who has contributed to this edition, and as this is the 100th edition, we would also like to say a special thank you to everyone that has been involved in keeping FrogLog going over the last 20 years. We are looking forward to working with you all in the coming years to continue developing FrogLog to meet your needs and interests.

This edition focuses on South America, and being so well supported, is considerably larger than past editions. For that reason we have uploaded two pdf versions to our web site. The full version contains all the working links and is a fully interactive document whereas the smaller version is less interactive yet has the same content. I have included direct links to both versions at the bottom of this email as well.

If you are interested in submitting an article to FrogLog please contact me at jplewis@amphibians.org. Article guidelines are included towards the back of the current edition. Please do not hesitate to contact me if you have any questions or comments regarding FrogLog or the work of the ASG.

The upcoming schedule for FrogLog is as follows:
March 2012 - Europe, North Africa and West Asia
May 2012 - North and Central America and the Caribbean
July 2012 – Sub-Saharan Africa
September 2012 - Mainland Asia
November 2012 - Maritime Southeast Asia and Oceania
January 2013 - South America

Please feel free to send this email out to your friends and co-workers and if you are not on the ASG mailing list but would like to be added please email me (at jplewis@amphibians.org) with the subject heading “add me to mailing list” and I will do so. Please note that we try to keep the number of emails distributed on this list to a minimum and normally only send out one per week maximum.

A quick reminder that the Sabin Award for Amphibian Conservation deadline is the 29th January, please visit our website for more details http://www.amphibians.org/asg/grants/ .

Thanks once again to all of the contributing authors and I hope you enjoy the new edition of FrogLog.

Best,

James
