Topic: neat find roadcruising...

Spent a few hours tonight cruising the Weddington portion of the Ozark NF.  Was hoping for more copperheads but found this instead:

A little redbelly!  Its only the second individual I've ever seen, so you can imagine my delight at finding it.

Sweet. I've only seen one and my friend actually caught it so good job. Nice shots as well.

Beautiful snake!  I've never seen a redbelly.  I didn't realize the coloration was that striking!  Thanks for sharing, Van!
